Diane Tavenner

For the last twenty years, Diane has led Summit Public Schools, where the team has pioneered a new vision for education in the US. Under her leadership, Summit developed a school model centered on real-world experiences, self-direction, collaboration, and reflection--preparing all students to succeed in college, thrive in today’s workplace, and lead a secure and fulfilled life.

She is the author of Prepared: What Kids Need for a Fulfilled Life and co-hosts the Class Disrupted podcast with Michael Horn.

Diane’s inspiration for Point B is her belief that every person can be equipped to lead a fulfilled life made possible through purposeful work, financial independence, and meaningful relationships.
